Approved document v1. Current website commercial settings determine prices and cities; the following terms govern scope.
VERIPACTO — TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ON-SITE COMPANY VERIFICATION
Approved version v1
1. Nature of the service
On-site Company Verification is an in-person observation service providing objective documentation of a business address and facilities. Its purpose is to record what the inspector could observe and document during the visit. It is not an audit, certification, legal investigation, financial review, credit assessment, specialist technical inspection or guarantee of the visited company's existence, solvency, legitimacy, reliability, operational capacity or future conduct.
2. Included scope
Unless otherwise stated, the published fee covers one company, one address, one visit, up to three hours on site, prior coordination where appropriate, location records, photographic evidence, a visit checklist, objective observations and a Veripacto digital report.
3. Geographic coverage
Published fees apply only to the cities and coverage areas shown on the Veripacto website. Visits elsewhere, in remote areas or with special requirements require prior review and quotation. Veripacto may accept or decline requests outside coverage based on operational availability, safety, costs and execution capacity.
4. Coordination and timing
Veripacto will aim to coordinate and conduct the visit within three (3) business days after receiving the necessary information and payment confirmation. This is an operational target, not a guarantee of a specific date. The visit depends on counterparty availability, access to the facilities, inspector availability and other circumstances reasonably outside Veripacto's control. If the counterparty requests a later date, does not respond, reschedules or restricts access, or if the available inspector requires another date, the schedule will be adjusted. Veripacto will inform the client of any material delay.
5. Access to facilities
The standard service gives neither Veripacto nor the inspector a right to enter private property. Internal access depends on authorization from the company or the person responsible for the premises. If access is partial or denied, the inspector will document what can reasonably be observed from permitted or public areas. Lack of access does not by itself mean the company does not exist and does not automatically justify a negative conclusion.
6. Closed premises, absent contact or unconfirmed address
If the premises are closed, the contact does not attend, nobody answers or the company cannot be physically confirmed at the stated address, the inspector will document the situation, make the contact attempts required by the procedure and record available evidence. The fee covers one visit. A second visit or rescheduling requiring another trip may incur an additional cost, subject to the client's prior approval.
7. Photographs and evidence
The inspector will aim to obtain at least six (6) usable photographs and normally ten (10) to twenty (20), with no maximum where evidence is relevant. These may show the facade, street number, signage, access, authorized internal areas, observable activity, goods, equipment, vehicles and other relevant elements. Restrictions or prohibitions on photographs in particular areas will be respected and recorded. Veripacto will retain original evidence according to its internal procedures.
8. Location and map
Under the standard procedure, the inspector will share their location with Veripacto on arrival and aim to record sufficient address information and/or coordinates to document the premises visited. The report normally includes a visual map showing the visit location when available data allow it. Shared location, recorded time and facade photographs may be retained as supporting case evidence.
9. Information provided by the counterparty
Statements by employees, representatives, receptionists or other contacts during the visit will be identified as information declared by those individuals. Veripacto does not guarantee the accuracy of third-party statements unless independently verified.
10. Observations and conclusion
The inspector records facts and observations, without determining whether a company is good, bad, solvent, reliable or recommended. The final report follows Veripacto's methodology and may describe the consistency between available information and observations during the visit. Any conclusion is limited to the service scope and evidence obtained on the visit date.
11. Limitations
The visit records a particular point in time and cannot guarantee that the company will retain the same location or activity; that the facilities belong to the company; that all its activity takes place there; that third-party information is complete or accurate; that it has any specific financial, legal, commercial or technical capacity; or that no relevant facts remained unobservable during the visit.
12. Inspector safety and conduct
The inspector is not authorized to enter without permission, use deception, impersonate an authority, take private documents without authorization, secretly photograph restricted areas, confront staff or act in a way that could endanger themselves or others. Veripacto may suspend or end a visit if conditions are unsafe or inappropriate.
13. Report delivery
After the visit and receipt of necessary evidence, Veripacto will process the information and issue a digital report within a reasonable time. In the absence of extraordinary delays, the target is within twenty-four (24) hours after the visit ends.
14. Payment and acceptance
The client must review and accept these Terms and Conditions before proceeding with payment. Acceptance means the client understands the scope, limitations and dependence on the availability and cooperation of the visited counterparty.
15. Third-party information and general limitation
The report is based on visit observations, third-party information and, where applicable, additional sources identified in the report. Veripacto does not guarantee these sources are complete, accurate or permanently up to date. Conclusions describe observations within the service scope and are not certification, a solvency guarantee, legal, financial or credit advice, or a recommendation to enter a contract. Commercial decisions belong solely to the client.
16. Contact
Queries, special requests, rescheduling and requests outside coverage must use Veripacto's stated channels, including info@veripacto.org.

FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Nature of the service
Veripacto's Pre-shipment and Cargo Inspection is an in-person observation service objectively documenting visible goods, packaging, labels, observable quantities and loading. It is not an audit, quality or sanitary certification, expert appraisal, laboratory analysis, formal AQL inspection, guarantee of product condition or commercial recommendation.
2. Included scope
Unless otherwise stated, the published fee covers one shipment, one location, one inspector and up to five (5) hours on site; visual observation of accessible products; visible presentation, packaging, labels and identifiable lots; container or vehicle documentation where applicable; loading records; row-by-row photographic checks when observable; final stowage, doors and seal where applicable; photographic evidence, a Veripacto checklist and a digital report.
3. Required prior information
Before coordination, the client must provide enough information to identify the operation correctly. At minimum: supplier or facility, country, city, address, facility/supplier contact, approximate loading date and time, packing list and client contact for operational decisions. Where available, provide booking reference, shipping line, container number, special instructions and any documents or specifications the client wants considered. Loading date and time will be reconfirmed with the facility/supplier contact.
4. Packing list
The packing list is the main reference for products, presentation, lots, quantities and other information it contains. Missing information or information that cannot be physically verified will be marked unavailable, unobserved or unverifiable, as appropriate.
5. Booking and tracking
If booking and shipping line information are supplied, Veripacto may attempt to check publicly available logistics status or accessible tracking tools. Tracking availability, accuracy and updating depend on the shipping line or third parties and are not guaranteed by Veripacto.
6. Coordination
Inspection takes place on the loading date and time coordinated with the facility/supplier, subject to counterparty confirmation, access, inspector availability and operational changes by the facility, carrier or shipping line. Veripacto does not guarantee an exact start time when it depends on third parties.
7. Inspection time
The standard fee includes up to five (5) hours on site. Time starts when the inspector arrives at the agreed location and includes reasonable waiting, plant delays, container/vehicle arrival, preparation and loading. Veripacto will seek client authorization before continuing if more time is needed. Additional time is billed at US$40 per hour. Without prior authorization, participation ends after included time and the operation's status at that moment is documented.
8. Communication during inspection
The inspector communicates directly with Veripacto. Veripacto communicates with the client and conveys relevant commercial or operational instructions. The inspector must not contact the client directly unless expressly instructed by Veripacto.
9. Live photographic follow-up
The inspector sends Veripacto photographs of main loading milestones: products and labels, container/vehicle, start of loading, each loading row, final stowage, closed doors, seal and relevant incidents, as applicable. WhatsApp may be used for live operational communication. Original photographs become part of the inspection file.
10. Row-by-row checks
Where successive loading rows can be observed, the inspector will aim to photograph each before the next covers it, recording row number and visible or estimated box quantities when possible. This is supporting evidence, not a certified count or official weighing.
11. Product and visual observation
The inspector documents only what can reasonably be observed during the operation. They must not thaw products, perform destructive tests, taste products, conduct a full sensory inspection or diagnose contamination, mould, deterioration or causes of anomalies. They may record appearance, visible colour, obvious unusual odour during normal handling, visible damage, and visible packaging/label condition.
12. Temperature
Temperature or set point is recorded when a reading is reasonably accessible, for example on refrigeration equipment or plant equipment displays. The inspector need not enter the container or use their own instrument. The reading describes only the observation at that moment, not cold-chain certification or internal product temperature.
13. Observations and material alerts
An OBSERVATION is an unusual condition requiring documentation and communication to Veripacto, but not necessarily separation of goods. A MATERIAL ALERT is a deviation that could reasonably justify the client choosing to separate, review or not load certain goods. For a material alert, the inspector must photograph context and detail, notify Veripacto immediately, identify affected goods, request temporary separation where possible and accepted by the counterparty, continue with unaffected goods where reasonably possible and await Veripacto instructions.
14. Inspector authority
The inspector cannot reject goods, approve them for the client, order a complete stop, force the counterparty to withdraw or separate products, or make technical statements beyond observations. Commercial decisions belong to the client.
15. Counterparty refusal to separate goods
If temporary separation is refused, the inspector must not argue or impose a decision. They document the situation, obtain evidence when possible and notify Veripacto immediately.
16. Access and counterparty cooperation
Inspection quality and scope depend on permitted access and cooperation from the facility, supplier, warehouse, carrier and other third parties. Any inaccessible area, product, document or operational stage will be expressly identified in the report.
17. Quantities
Reported quantities may be based on physical observation, row photographs, packing lists, provided documentation and reasonable visible counts. Unless a different service is expressly contracted, Veripacto does not provide certified weighing or an official inventory count.
18. Photographic evidence
The inspector will aim for at least twelve (12) usable photographs, normally twenty (20) to forty (40), with no maximum when more evidence is needed. Row checks may produce more photographs. If a particular photograph cannot be obtained, the reason is recorded.
19. Geographic coverage
Published fees apply only to Veripacto's listed coverage cities. Requests elsewhere have no direct checkout and require a prior quotation, or may be declined based on availability, costs, distance and operational conditions.
20. Rescheduling and changes
Changes to date, time, location or loading conditions must be communicated as soon as possible. Rescheduling may incur additional costs if the inspector has already travelled or arrived on site.
21. Report delivery
After inspection completion and receipt of necessary evidence, Veripacto aims to issue the digital report within twenty-four (24) hours. Incidents, pending information or extraordinary circumstances may extend this period.
22. General limitations
The report reflects a specific operation at a particular time. It does not guarantee future product quality, absence of invisible defects, internal condition of every unit, microbiological or chemical compliance, shelf life, food safety, certified weight, accuracy of third-party information or subsequent product performance.
23. Acceptance and payment
Before payment, the client must see the key conditions and have access to these full Terms and Conditions. Checkout must include an unchecked checkbox for express acceptance. Payment can be completed only after acceptance.
24. General disclaimer
This report is for information and to support business decisions only. Veripacto collects and organizes inspection observations and third-party information. Information reflects what was available and observed on the service date, and may be incomplete or contain source errors. Conclusions describe observed data under a standardized methodology, without constituting certification, guarantees of quality, solvency or performance, recommendations to contract, or legal, financial or credit advice. The commercial decision belongs solely to the client.
25. Contact
Coordination, changes, special requests and service queries must go through Veripacto's stated channels, including info@veripacto.org.
Sensory Product Inspection
Approved document v1. Current website commercial settings determine prices and cities; the following terms govern scope.
VERIPACTO — TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SENSORY INSPECTION — SEAFOOD AND AGRICULTURE
Draft v1 for review
1. Nature of the service
A commercial review of an accessible product sample to document sensory characteristics, visible specifications, weights, sizes/grades and observable stock when included in the case. The report separates findings on the sample actually examined into (a) sensory characteristics and visible specifications, (b) quantities, weights and sizes/grades where relevant, and (c) available stock when accessible and included.
2. Case-specific sampling plan
Before the visit, Veripacto defines the sampling plan for the product, species or variety. It specifies boxes, bags or units to examine, those to thaw or prepare, weights, counts or cuts required and case-specific criteria. The inspector must follow the plan and may not expand or reduce it independently.
3. Standard sampling
Unless the client or case instructs otherwise, the operational baseline is: seafood — 2 boxes or bags per container, randomly selected where reasonably possible and preferably from different positions; fish sold by weight/unit — each inspected unit in the selected sample is weighed; products sold in pieces/kg or pieces/lb — after thawing/draining where required, 1 kg or 1 lb is weighed according to the specification and pieces are counted; agriculture — no fixed box count, with the plan distributing the sample across several boxes, normally taking one or a few units per box according to product, variety and review type. The aim is greater sample dispersion without unnecessarily reviewing every item in each box. Sampling is operational and limited, NOT an AQL, MIL, ISO or other statistical acceptance sampling plan unless expressly agreed in writing.
4. Representativeness
Results relate only to the sample actually examined and conditions observed during the visit. The sample is not necessarily statistically representative of the entire lot and findings must not be interpreted as guaranteed extrapolation to all goods.
5. Quality, specifications and quantities
Where a sufficient reference is provided, Veripacto compares the commercial description and observable specifications, including presentation, skin, bones, head, tail, shell, peeling, deveining, cuts, variety, packaging, net weight and size/grade where relevant. Sensory assessment may include appearance, colour, odour/aroma, texture/firmness and visible defects. Taste is assessed only when requested, appropriate to the product and safely prepared for consumption.
6. Weights and measurements
Relevant records may include gross box/bag weight, tare, net weight, frozen weight, thawed/drained weight, individual unit weight and size/grade counts. Each relevant measurement requires legible photographic evidence. Unless otherwise agreed, plant scales are used. Veripacto records observed readings but does not certify third-party equipment calibration.
7. Frozen products and preparation
Where applicable, especially frozen seafood and other products requiring it, products are documented before and after thawing/preparation. Available methods and timings are recorded. Fresh agricultural products normally do not require thawing. Results may depend on preparation, draining, temperature and conditions provided by the facility.
8. Available stock
Accessible stock included in the case may be documented through photographs, lots and visible quantities. Stock is classified as COUNTED, ESTIMATED or DECLARED. Only quantities sufficiently accessible for counting or documentation can be considered physically verified.
9. Findings and additional samples
Deviations in the initial sample remain recorded and cannot be deleted or replaced by a later sample. Additional samples must be identified and require Veripacto's instructions, normally after consulting the client or as provided by the plan. If the facility selects or supplies a sample directly, that fact is recorded and the selection is not described as random.
10. Facility cooperation
The facility/supplier must provide reasonable access, a lot sample, a clean, adequately lit space, scales when needed and coordinated preparation/thawing where relevant. Missing access, samples, equipment, space or cooperation may partially or wholly limit or prevent inspection and will be documented.
11. Photographic evidence
A general minimum of 20 useful photographs is required, with no maximum. Every relevant weighing or measurement additionally requires its own photograph, including scale zero, gross weight, tare, net weight, frozen weight, thawed/drained weight, each individually weighed unit and size/count checks where applicable.
12. Limitations and disclaimer
Sensory Inspection is not certification of quality, food safety, suitability for consumption, composition, species authenticity, shelf life, sanitary condition, microbiological or chemical compliance, or a commercial guarantee of the lot. It does not replace laboratory tests, audits, certifications, official inspections, formal AQL plans or regulatory controls. The report is informational and supports business decisions. Veripacto reports what evidence and sources allow it to observe; it does not guarantee solvency, future performance or commercial outcomes. Decisions to accept, reject, buy, sell, load or claim concerning goods belong solely to the client.
13. Service time
The standard fee covers up to 5 hours on site. If an extension, additional samples or continuation because of operational delays is needed, Veripacto will seek authorization where appropriate. Extra hours are billed at the current rate communicated to the client.
14. Report
Veripacto prepares the final report from inspector evidence. The inspector does not issue certifications or decide the case's commercial outcome. The conclusion must be read together with the scope, sample examined and recorded limitations.
15. Acceptance
Contracting and/or paying for the service implies acceptance of these terms and the case's confirmed sampling plan.
Sensory Inspection: limitations
The inspection uses a limited operational sample that is not necessarily statistically representative of the entire lot. It is not certification of quality, food safety or lot conformity, and does not replace laboratory testing or a formal AQL plan. Results are limited to the sample, location, date and conditions observed. The commercial decision belongs to the client.
